Skipper in Nijmegen/Lobith (day shift)
You will be involved in maneuvering, securing/unsecuring, loading, transporting, and unloading ship waste between Nijmegen and Lobith Hydrovac 4 or 18 on a daily basis.

What will you do?
You will be involved in maneuvering, securing/unsecuring, loading, transporting, and unloading ship waste between Nijmegen and Lobith Hydrovac 4 or 18 on a daily basis. This may be liquid waste, but also solid waste. You will work day shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from a berth in Nijmegen or Lobith. You will be in daily contact with the planners and your fellow skippers from other collection boats. You will work alone on board. You will ensure that the ship, installations, and equipment are in good working order, and if necessary, you will carry out maintenance or have repairs carried out. You will also be responsible for keeping the waste administration on board up to date.
What you bring
- Large Navigation Licence 1, Radar Certificate, ADN and VHF Certificate
- Basic knowledge of nautical English
- An independent work attitude and a sense of responsibility

You process ship waste every day with the Martens 15 in the Port of Antwerp, work day shifts and ensure a well functioning vessel and accurate administration.
