What will you be doing?

As a Deckhand, you’ll work daily in the Port of Antwerp aboard our Martens 15. Your daily tasks will include mooring, loading, transporting, and unloading ship waste from our inland waterway customers. This involves both liquid and solid waste streams.

You’ll work a day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and contribute to the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible delivery of our services.

What do you bring to the table?

  • You preferably hold ADN 1.3, Safe Hoisting, and an Emergency Response (BHV) certificate. If you do not yet have these certificates, we offer the opportunity to obtain them through us.
  • The Basic Safety Training for Deck Crew is mandatory.
  • A valid service record book.
  • Basic knowledge of nautical English.
  • An independent, proactive work ethic.
  • A sense of responsibility and strong safety awareness.
  • An affinity for the maritime sector and working on the water.
