Cleaner (Nieuwdorp)

What you’ll be doing:
- Connecting hoses, high-pressure cleaning, and vacuuming
- Working with vacuum trucks and other machines
- Collecting and disposing of (ship) waste
- Stepping in where needed
You start every morning at our location in Nieuwdorp. There, you’ll find out what you’ll be doing that day. You’ll usually finish around 4:30 p.m. Is there an urgent job? Then you might work a little longer.
About the job
Your work is essential. Without you, machines could come to a standstill, tanks couldn’t be used, and dangerous situations could arise.
You’ll work in a variety of locations: in ports, at terminals, at companies, or right in the city center. One day you might be working in a crawl space, the next in a ship’s fuel tank.
You’ll always work alongside an Operator and one or two colleagues.
About your colleagues
You’ll be part of a close-knit team of 5 Operators and 2 Cleaners. The atmosphere is direct, honest, and no-nonsense. We work hard and help each other. No matter what the job is: we don’t give up.
About you
You like to get things done and enjoy working outdoors—rain or shine. Whether it’s grease, oil, or sewers: you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty.
What you bring to the table:
- You speak Dutch and/or English
- You’re eager to learn and will earn certifications such as VCA and air respiration through us
- You have a Class B driver’s license or your own transportation
What we offer:
- Salary of approximately €2,860 gross per month (€16.50 per hour)
- Overtime pay or time off—you choose

Skipper in Nijmegen/Lobith (day shift)
You will be involved in maneuvering, securing/unsecuring, loading, transporting, and unloading ship waste between Nijmegen and Lobith Hydrovac 4 or 18 on a daily basis.
Skipper in Rotterdam (week on/week off)
You collect and handle liquid or solid ship waste in the Port of Rotterdam, work week on week off, operate and maintain the vessel independently and keep accurate onboard administration.
